There are several steps to take into consideration when updating to the latest Duplicate Remover version:
- Current Duplicate Remover version number
- Checking if an update is available
- Duplicate Remover license validity
- Updating methods
In this article, we will discuss all these points.
Why is it important to keep the Duplicate Remover version up to date?
Because of outside factors like Microsoft Outlook or Windows version changes, Duplicate Remover needs to change as well to keep up. With each new Duplicate Remover version, new functionalities can be introduced, bugs fixed, and old functionalities discontinued. Most importantly - we do not provide support for old releases as part of our general policy.
A new version of Duplicate Remover is released every few months unless there is urgency and a need for a patched build.
How to check the current Duplicate Remover version number

- Do not update Duplicate Remover to the latest version unless your Duplicate Remover license is valid.
- Make sure you install the correct bit version of Duplicate Remover to match Outlook's bit version.
- Duplicate Remover does not auto-update. Updates always need to be done manually.
